here are some pictures of tristan showing off his sitting. ive got to put him in the playpen if im not right there so the dogs dont knock hom over. i caught lady trying to stick her head through the mesh the other day trying to kiss him, it was so funny. he doesnt really need the boppy, but it makes me feel better if im not right there :)

happy easter!

Happy easter everyone! here are some pictures, we didnt do much today. tristan and i went to church, and he stayed in the nursery for the first time. he didnt cry when i left, and when i went to get him, he was laughing in the excersaucer. that hour is the longest ive been away from him, and it felt so weird sitting through the service without him. we came home and after a nap, we gave him his basket- he got a chickie that cheeps, a peter cottontail book and the pat the bunny book. then we took pictures. later we went for chinese food since our oven is broken so i couldnt cook a real easter dinner

we got tristan a swim diaper, uv protected shirt and some sunglasses for the summer. isnt he stylin' with his glasses on on our walk today?

these are just cute -tristan had been playing on the bed with david, and fell asleep. daddy put him down, and in his sleep, he reached out and grabbed his book and pulled it over his head. it was completely covering his face, but by the time i got the camera, he moved it again

brunch with a bunnny

We did brunch with a bunny today- a bbq and an easter egg hunt. tristan couldnt really hunt, but we got him a couple of eggs to play with. he likes functions like this because he gets to play with all the girls in davids class who are so in love with him. its times like that im glad im nursing, its the only reason i get him back, lol. we put him in his easter outfit so it would get more than one wearing. isnt it adorable?

tooth!

tristans first tooth cut through this morning. its his lower right tooth. its just the tip.but it will bee fully in soon enough. hes getting so big, i dont know whether to laugh or cry

FEET!!!!!!!!

so tristan has finally discovered that there are things at the ends of his legs that he loves to kick.... yep, he found his feet. of course, it would happen while one of them is bandaged up, lol. theyre always in his hands now. we use babylegs (www.babylegs.net awesome things, i love them and recommend them for everyone. if someone you know is having a baby, buy them some! target started carrying them too now) so he cant pull the bandage off. we use them all the time, but theyre just perfect for that.
we got him his big boy carseat, a britax marathon in crocodile print (http://www.britaxusa.com/products/product_detail.aspx?ID=5 ) and he loves it. i think he is so much more comfortable in it. he just talks and laughs and plays back there. when we went to get him out of the seat last night he had both feet in his hands, lol.
he also finally figured out how to get the binky back into his mouth the right way yesterday. hes been trying, but usually just ended up chewing on the shield or handle.
he learned his "h" and "y" sounds this week too, and he just talks so much! hes shy around strangers though, and doesnt talk so much, just likes to look at them
